President's Report
As the year draws to a close, and we look to finish those last minute activities, I hope we all find a few moments to reflect on our accomplishments for the year.
For our Chapter, when I look back on the year I see opportunities we shared to learn together over educational lunch sessions, networking gatherings, and that amazing I-Day. And when I look a little closer, I see something more meaningful: Community.
Leading this chapter, and your Leadership Team, for 2025 has been a privilege. The unique and talented humans this collective represents makes me proud to volunteer to our organization.
We know this year in our industry has not been without its challenges. Navigating a complex marketplace requires determination, intellect, and patience. It is so impactful to be involved in CPCU, where we help each other enrich our skillsets to take back to our workplaces, and elevate our professions.
Thank you for showing up, both digitally and in person, for our connective and technical events. The vibrancy of the Dallas Chapter is only because of you. Our impact on local events, such as volunteering at food pantry or providing scholarships, can only exist because of you. I also observed members offering career advice, mentoring, and helping each other find new jobs. What an amazing network we have!
You are the heartbeat of the Society. Beyond upholding our commitment to our designation, you support each other. And I am proud to be a member of this Chapter.
Happiest Holidays to each of you and all you call family. Thank you for making the Dallas Chapter CPCU Society part of that extension.
Warmest wishes,
Azsure Dorton, CPCU, CLU, CISA
